Newly founded Metallurgy Advisory Board provides invaluable skills

We have now formed the GreenIron Metallurgy Advisory Board (MAB). The purpose of this very experienced and competent group is to enhance the skills within GreenIron in regard to metallurgy as well as the steel- and mining industry.

We have now formed the GreenIron Metallurgy Advisory Board (MAB). The purpose of this very experienced and competent group is to enhance the skills within GreenIron in regard to metallurgy as well as the steel- and mining industry. If we are to comply with the target of limiting global warming to 1,5C, we must achieve fossil-free value chains – from ore extraction to production of steel and other metals.

Additionally, we must also realize that in order to attain this, recycling of all waste and residuals is required. At GreenIron we are continuously working on improvements and enhancement of our recycling technology of mine tailings and waste or residuals from industries such as steel making. This quest means that we must be able to handle diverse and varying challenges of technical nature to further magnify our already energy efficient value creating process.

For this purpose it is very important for us to ensure that we have access to the brightest minds in regard to experience, knowledge and creativity. The GreenIron MAB with its uniquely qualified participants will create large value for our quest of a fossil-free and resource efficient industry.
