GreenIron is a metal technology company delivering reduction and recycling as a service. We transform steel industry residuals into circular, carbon-neutral metal feedstock. Using a patented, hydrogen-based reduction process, metal oxides are converted into metal — with water as the only by-product.

The problem we solve

Steel production accounts for 7–11% of global CO₂ emissions and generates millions of tonnes of oxidised by-products every year, such as mill scale and filter dust. Today, these materials are often processed using fossil-based methods, landfilled, downcycled or transported long distances, resulting in lost value, high emissions and unnecessary costs for steelmakers. At the same time, steelmakers face increasing pressure to reduce emissions, improve material efficiency and strengthen profitability, while meeting stricter regulatory and customer requirements.
