November 27, 2023

On November 21–23, GreenIron’s CEO, Edward Murray, visited Brazil to, among other things, participate in the Business Leaders Forum event in São Paulo, where leaders of Brazilian and Swedish business life met to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation between the countries. This well-regarded business forum aims to promote the strategic partnership between Sweden and Brazil. Above all in trade and investment, but also in climate and development issues.

Edward Murray spoke on the theme “Sustainable Mining Industrial and Technological Cooperation” in the company of Kajsa Ryttberg-Wallgren, Vice-President at H2 Green Steel and GustavoBonora Biscassi, VP External relations at Vale. Edward premiered GreenIron’s reduction furnace which is now in full construction at Seco/Warwick Group in Poland. And also informed about GreenIron’s first large-scale production facility in Sandviken, which is expected to be in operation during the summer of 2024.

Swedish business sector was represented by Håkan Buskhe, CEO FAM, Marcus Wallenberg, CEO & Chairman, Börje Ekholm, CEO Ericsson and Jan Larsson, CEO Business Sweden and others.

The Swedish government was represented by Johan Forsell, Swedish Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade and Sara Modig, State Secretary to Minister of Energy, Business, and Industry. Plus Sweden’s ambassador to Brazil, Karin Wallensteen. And the Brazilian business community was represented, among others, by Ricardo Alban, President of CNI and Rafael Lucchesi, Director of Education and Technology at CNI.

A big thank you to the organisers CNI and Business Sweden for inviting GreenIron and for arranging this seminar for the 4th year.
