GreenIron – Chief Project Officer (CPO)

June 1, 2023

In order to continue developing the company and establishing new sites, we are recruiting a Chief Project Officer (CPO) together with Novare Executive Search. This is an opportunity to be a vital part of GreenIron’s exciting growth journey focused on solving global metals and mining sector´s sustainability challenges.

About GreenIron

GreenIron´s vision is to become the global metals and mining sectors´s most respected and innovative CO2-free company. By leading our industry´s transformation from a linear to a circular economy.

The company´s higher purpose is to act for a CO2-free circular value chain – from ore and metal by-products to metals – in the metals and mining industry. With our cutting-edge technology we are fully prepared to be at the forefront of the transition to circularity, in order to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. We strongly believe that there is a great need for our pioneering and patented technology if the mining and metals industry is to be able to reduce its climate footprint.

Our technology is best summed up: An energy-efficient production process for the sustainable recycling of iron-based residues, waste and other metal oxides to produce pure metals and steel. The technology also enables the processing of virgin raw materials, e.g., iron ore. The process is hydrogen-based and thus 100 percent carbon dioxide-free.

GreenIron’s value proposition is the cutting-edge technology, which is the optimal fossil-free solution to recapture valuable commodities from residues and waste, from the mining, steel and manufacturing industry.

We expect to be up and running by the end of 2023 with our first full-scale production site in Sweden. It´s thus the starting point for industrialising, commercialising and distributing our technology with the vision to create a better and more sustainable world for future generations.
