In order to continue developing the company we are recruiting a Marketing and Communications Director (CMCO). This with the ambition to create a stronger brand for our stakeholders and target groups.

Our Purpose

Our overall goal is to minimise the impact of CO2 from the mining, steel and metal industry. We recycle residuals and waste from e.g., the steel industry and thereby increases circularity and resource efficiency, as the previous waste can be used as fresh input material in the steel production. It will benefit foundries, mining and steel makers. Using our technology will enable the steel industry to come one step closer to a zero-emission production, through circular usage of materials. The residual from the GreenIron process is water, which means zero emission. About the job

Responsibilities

  • Complete ownership and responsibility of the GreenIrons marketing and communication strategy, go-to-market planning, execution of the strategy, KPIs of the set activities and identify the stakeholders and execution across all stakeholder touchpoints.
  • Strategy with subsequent implementation related to external and internal communications for GreenIron.
  • Execution of daily operations and management of the news flow and digital interactions (e.g., digital, social, and traditional).
  • Independently create, edit, and produce related communications materials: e.g., press releases, Investor relations materials, backgrounders, FAQs, key message documents, videos, competitive landscape, environmental context, by-liners, op-eds, speeches, and intranet stories.
  • Internal communications and messaging ideas and support to the management team and senior staff.
  • Plan and implement traditional media and digital activation plans in support of planned product/service launches and corporate announcements.
  • Ability to serve as official corporate spokesperson or coach designated spokespersons managing all strategic relationships with national and local media outlets.
  • Identifiy and secure speaking opportunities that position GreenIron as a thought and industry leader.
  • Builds excellent working relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., communication departments of banks, consumer unions, merchants, media partners, community leaders and governments).
  • Execute communications programs including external communications, internal communications, events and regulatory communications.
  • Nuture investor relations and its stakeholders as well as being a spokesperson towards government, EU and other high-level stakeholders within the sustainability community.

Experiences

  • Proven track record and achievements in developing and delivering creative communications programs and marketing programs aligned to corporate objectives (+10 years).
  • Strong experience of media relations communications, investor relations and digital communications, internal stakeholder management, event management, social media, with clear evidence of success.
  • Examples of excellent budgetary, planning and organisational skills
  • Valuable relationships with the media.
  • Evidence of leading complex cross-functional projects, domestically or cross border team.
  • Developed understanding of global best practices, both in own function and in the broader organisation, through experience working in a matrixed or global organisation.
  • Capable self-starter and purpose driven.
  • Evidence of creative thinking with superb attention to detail and ability to drive successful agency relationships.
  • Excellent written skills with the ability to produce simple and creative material to a publishable standard, including articles, marketing material and input to speeches.
  • 10+ years proven experience from a similar role within B2B.
  • Preferable to have experience from a global marketing and communications department.
  • Proven track record of building up a Marketing and Communication organisation, preferably on a global level.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken. Spanish, Portuguese and or German is an added plus.

This is a permanent position, full time at GreenIrons office in Stockholm with travelling.
