Nordic Industries unite for Green Future in Davos

January 22, 2024

During the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, our CEO Edward Murray presented GreenIron. He was also part of a roundtable discussion consisting of corporations deeply commited to the green transition including Volvo AB and IKEA. The discussion was led by the esteemed Arati Davis as the moderator.

This all took place during the inaugural ‘Indo-Nordic Industry Dialogue on Sustainability’. The aim of the event was to exchange insights from India and the Nordics on maintaining sustainability and running green businesses, with a particular focus on renewable energy, innovation, and new technology.

Reflecting on his visit to Davos, Edward Murray commented, “It was truly inspiring to meet leading figures driving the green industrial evolution from around the world. We unanimously agreed that to achieve the transformation of industry we must collaborate and update the legislation to enable the technological shift. Current legislation is typically defined from what industry looked like in the 1960’s, now it must be adapted to the needs of the 2060s.”

We extend our gratitude to the organizers, including Invest India, The Modern India, Indian Danish Chamber of Commerce, and the Sweden-India Business Council, for providing us with the opportunity to have our voice heard.
